VANCOUVER, British Columbia — October 9, 2026 — Canadian automotive retailer AutoCanada Inc. has acquired two collision-repair facilities in Metro Vancouver, expanding its presence in British Columbia’s automotive repair market.
The Edmonton-based company announced on October 8 that it had completed the acquisition of two Colorworks Autobody facilities located in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. The transaction adds approximately 12,100 square feet of collision-repair capacity to its network.
Both facilities hold Tier 1 status with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and have certifications covering 10 automotive brands, strengthening AutoCanada’s capacity to provide vehicle repair services in the region.
The company also appointed TD Securities Inc. as its exclusive financial adviser for a strategic review of its collision operations, a process it had previously announced on September 29.
The acquisitions highlight AutoCanada’s continued focus on its collision-repair business in a competitive automotive services market. The strategic review could provide further insight into how the company plans to develop this part of its operations.
The company has not disclosed the purchase price in the announcement. Investors and industry observers will be watching for further updates on the strategic review and the company’s plans for its expanded British Columbia network.
