Canada is investing $800,000 in Ottawa-based H2 Analytics Inc. to advance AI-driven technology designed for defence and security training.
The federal funding will support a more than $4.2-million technology project focused on upgrading H2 Analytics’ Exercise Architect Suite (EASE), an AI-enabled platform used to create and manage realistic intelligence-training exercises.
The upgraded platform is expected to help organizations build more complex training scenarios, coordinate multilingual exercises and improve system performance. The company also plans to expand the technology into international markets.
H2 Analytics says its EASE platform uses AI-enabled tools to help generate intelligence data and reports, allowing training teams to develop realistic scenarios more efficiently.
The October 1 announcement highlights Ottawa’s growing technology ecosystem in artificial intelligence, defence technology, cybersecurity and advanced digital solutions, with the federal investment aimed at supporting Canadian-built technology and skilled jobs.
The project comes as AI-powered simulation and digital training technologies become increasingly important for organizations preparing for complex security and operational environments.
