Medline Canada is planning a major expansion of its healthcare distribution network in British Columbia, announcing a new warehouse and distribution centre at Parkwood Industrial Estates in Delta.
The planned facility will cover more than 180,000 square feet, nearly doubling the combined size of Medline Canada’s existing facilities in the province. The company says the new site will become an integrated hub supporting its healthcare and dental operations across Western Canada.
Located near Deltaport and major highway routes, the new centre is expected to improve the movement of medical supplies and healthcare products into and across Canada.
Medline says the facility will support customers ranging from acute-care hospitals and primary-care providers to long-term-care facilities and dental practices. The warehouse will be designed to handle both large pallet shipments and individual items, helping improve distribution speed and flexibility.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2028, with the facility becoming fully operational in 2029.
The project represents one of Medline Canada’s largest supply-chain investments in the country and comes as healthcare organizations continue to face pressure to maintain reliable access to essential medical products.
The new Western Canada hub could strengthen healthcare supply-chain capacity while improving the distribution of medical products to providers across the country.
