Toronto-based PharmaTher Holdings is expanding its pharmaceutical technology operations through a new North American distribution agreement for 3D-printed medicines.
Announced on October 1, 2026, the agreement gives PharmaTher exclusive North American distribution rights to Craft Health’s CraftMake pharmaceutical 3D-printing platform.
The technology is designed to produce customized medication doses on demand. It can combine multiple medicines and release profiles into different oral formats, including tablets, chewables, gummies and oral films.
The agreement supports PharmaTher’s broader PERSONALIZ3D personalized medicine initiative, which aims to develop customized pharmaceutical products and related services.
The company plans to begin placing initial platform orders in the fourth quarter of 2026. The technology could offer new manufacturing options for pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical research organizations.
The development highlights growing interest in personalized medicine, pharmaceutical 3D printing and precision drug manufacturing across North America.
