Newfoundland and Labrador-based deep-tech company Solace Power has entered a new commercial phase with its Nova wireless-power module now in high-volume production and available for customer orders.

The company announced October 6 that its FCC-certified through-glass wireless power technology is designed to support outdoor 5G equipment without requiring traditional drilling or external power cables.

Nova can transfer up to 30 watts of power through glass, allowing compatible outdoor 5G customer-premises equipment to be installed more easily while keeping the power source indoors.

Solace Power said integration support is available immediately, with customer deliveries expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The technology could be relevant to telecommunications deployments where conventional cabling or building modifications are difficult.

The company’s move into high-volume production represents a significant step from technology development toward commercial deployment of Canadian wireless-power technology.

The announcement highlights Canada’s growing deep-tech sector, particularly in technologies designed to support next-generation connectivity and simplify telecommunications infrastructure deployment.
