Air Canada confirmed that one of its flights experienced a runway excursion after landing at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport on Thursday afternoon, resulting in temporary operational delays at the airport.
According to the airline, Flight AC774, arriving from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on July 9, 2026, landed safely before leaving the paved surface while exiting the main runway and traveling onto a grassy area.
Air Canada said there were 156 passengers and six crew members on board the Boeing 737 MAX at the time of the incident, which occurred at around 4 p.m. Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported.
In an update shared on the social media platform X, the airline said all passengers and crew safely exited the aircraft and were escorted to the airport terminal.
