Canada is accelerating its digital transformation through the federal government's "AI for All" strategy, a nationwide technology initiative focused on expanding artificial intelligence adoption across business, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, and public services. Officials say the strategy is designed to strengthen Canada's innovation ecosystem while improving long-term economic competitiveness.

The plan includes the creation of a C$500 million Canadian Tech Growth Fund to support domestic AI companies, investments in large-scale data centres and sovereign computing infrastructure, and expanded cybersecurity capabilities. The government projects the strategy could help create 250,000 new jobs by 2031 while increasing Canada's gross domestic product by approximately 3% through greater AI adoption and commercialization.
